Motor spare parts unit near Chennai

A motor vehicle spare parts-manufacturing park is coming up near Singaperumal Koil in an area of 1,343 acres, State Industries Ministers Nainar Nagendran said today. During question hour, the Minister said the park was coming up with the assistance of Tamilnadu Industrial Development Corporation.
The park would be established at a cost Rs 232 crore and provide direct employment to 3,000 persons and indirect employment to 30,000. The park is expected to attract investments from within the country and also from abroad to the tune of Rs 2500 crore, he said.
